Toys, school supplies and hygiene items for children ages 2-14 will arrive someplace in the developing world for Christmas. Families at Mt. Carmel Parish, Springfield, had a shoe box packing party with these donated items.
More than 120 shoe box gifts were filled by families at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Springfield. The gifts will be sent to children in developing countries.
Parishioners donated shipping costs for shoe box gifts to be sent to children around the world and prayed during Mass for all of the children who will receive the gifts.
