SPRINGFIELD – The Gray House will host its 32nd Annual Spaghetti Supper at the Greek Cultural Center on Thursday, March 23. All proceeds from the family-friendly event help The Gray House provide food, youth programming and adult educational services to those living in poverty throughout the greater Springfield community.

Event tickets are a minimum donation of $5 and include supper, dessert and children’s activities. Children 6 and under are free and all tickets can be purchased at the door. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase and provide the opportunity to win prizes, such as gift cards to various local restaurants, spa certificates, and more.

“Last year we had our most successful Supper ever, and we anticipate another wonderful event this year,” said Kristen McClintock, executive director of The Gray House. “The Spaghetti Supper provides a perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends, strengthen new partnerships, share the good work we have done throughout the year, and celebrate all of the amazing individuals and organizations who support our efforts to help our neighbors break free from the cycle of poverty.”

During the event, The Gray House will honor the law firm of Pellegrini, Seeley, Ryan & Blakesley, P.C. The firm has become an integral part of the agency’s annual Thanksgiving distribution, which provided over 855 Thanksgiving meals to families in need in 2022.

“The Gray House does critical work in our community,” said Atty. Earl Seeley III. “Each year, especially, as so many families are faced with increased challenges due to the significant rise in food costs, we are proud to do whatever we can to make the holidays special for everyone,” he added.

The event will be held at The Greek Cultural Center, 8 Plainfield Street, Springfield from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 23. The event accounts for nearly 10% of the agency’s annual operating budget. In 2022, The Gray House served over 13,000 unique individuals, the largest annual number in the agency’s more than 38-year history.

This year’s Event Sponsors are Freedom Credit Union, Health New England, PeoplesBank, PDC Inc., Symetra Financial, and John Shuman in memory of Theresa Shuman. The event is hosted through the generosity of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and dinner will be prepared and served by the Knights of Columbus Council 9960.
