Father Warren Savage and Mary Keator will be the facilitators for a virtual Lenten Day of Reflection on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon via the DeCicé Hall Zoom Meeting Room.

The theme of the day of reflection is “Reclaiming and Renewing Our Covenant Relationship with God, Creation, and Neighbor.” Participants will be offered suggestions on how to use specific resources to help them reflect on their covenant relationship with God, creation, and neighbor in a time of anxiety, conflict, division, uncertainty, and unrest in the world.

Father Savage is director and Catholic chaplain at the Albert and Amelia Ferst Interfaith Center, Westfield State University; and an instructor for the Springfield Diocese’s Diaconate Formation Program, among other diocesan roles.

Keator is a visiting lecturer in the English Department at Westfield State University.

Suggested resources for the Lenten day include Mindful Meditations for Every Day of Lent and Easter by Father Warren J. Savage and Mary Ann McSweeny; and The Catholic Study Bible (NABR) or the New Revised Study Version (NRSV).

Advance registration is necessary and can be completed at https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEpd-2oqDgpGd1IO6aE8O4Qjkq-mLNfMVmI. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Registrants also will receive a Zoom best practices guide, and a worksheet for the day of reflection via email.

Although there is no fee, free will offerings will be accepted. Checks payable to Westfield State Foundation, Inc., with St. Vincent de Paul Fund in the memo section, can be mailed to Fr. Warren J. Savage, Albert and Amelia Ferst Interfaith Center, P.O. Box 1630, Westfield, MA 01086-1630.
