As the season of Lent drew to a close, parishioners in the Springfield Diocese commemorated Christ’s death and then rejoiced in his Resurrection during Easter liturgies. And teens continued fundraising efforts for their trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference in November.

Teens at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Springfield invited parishioners to give up "clutter" for Lent and took the items to Savers for a cash refund. The proceeds will help the teens attend the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis this November.
