HOLYOKE — The Mont Marie Health Care Center in Holyoke has been found to be “deficiency free” by the State Department of Health
and Human Services.
The Mont Marie Health Care Center is an 84-bed licensed and certified skilled nursing facility sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield.
Once a year, the Department of Public Health makes an unannounced visit to health facilities to assess their compliance with regulations. The surveyors interview residents and staff and review clinical records and business, personnel, dietary and housekeeping departments.
“All of us at Mont Marie Health Care Center are very excited to have achieved a deficiency free survey,” said the center’s administrator, Sister of St. Joseph Betsy Sullivan. “Our staff work diligently and tirelessly to provide respectful, loving and compassionate care to all our residents every day.
“I am happy for our staff and very proud of their commitment in providing excellent care to our residents,” she said.
