Trinity Health’s practices now called Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group

SPRINGFIELD – Trinity Health Of New England, an integrated health care delivery system comprised of world-class providers and facilities dedicated to the full spectrum of preventive, acute and post-acute care, has announced that all of its employed provider practices have been renamed Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.
Locally, this includes the medical practices affiliated with Mercy Medical Center, including all RiverBend Medical Group and Mercy Medical Group locations throughout the Greater Springfield Area, as well as specialty practices.
“We have been evolving into a true regional health system since Trinity Health Of New England was established in 2015,” said Dr. Reginald J. Eadie, president and CEO of Trinity Health Of New England. “This evolution is happening at every level; bringing our employed medical practices together under the Trinity name is part of the process. We want our patients and their families, as well as our providers and staff, to experience one culture based on exceptional and inspired care, no matter where they meet us.”
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group also includes provider practice locations throughout Connecticut affiliated with St. Francis Hospital in Hartford and St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury.
“While our practice names have changed, our mission, core values and vision – providing high-quality care, cutting-edge technology and an inspiring patient experience – remain the same,” said Dr. Richard Shuman, president of Medical Groups and Provider Services, Trinity Health Of New England. “We will continue serving our communities in western Massachusetts and Connecticut, but as a single organization that has come together united by our commitment to our patients and communities.”
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is comprised of over 740 integrated surgical, specialty and primary care providers with 95 practice locations throughout greater Springfield, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The group is part of Trinity Health Of New England, a member of Trinity Health in Livonia, Michigan, one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation serving communities in 22 states.
