SPRINGFIELD – Jill Jorgensen, the executive director of Clearway Clinics, has announced she will begin transitioning from her role effective Dec. 31, 2026. She will continue to lead Clearway until a new director can be found. Jorgensen, who has served as executive director for four years, will remain on the board of directors.

“It has been one of the greatest privileges of my career to serve alongside dedicated supporters like you,” Jorgensen wrote in an email to Clearway supporters.

Jorgensen and her husband Brian have three children and three grandchildren.

“By God’s grace, we have witnessed incredible growth and faithfulness. Together, we have expanded our programs, strengthened the financial foundation of our ministry, improved and stabilized our operations, persevered through challenges from state government and local media, and, most importantly, served more patients than ever before as we serve the one for the one,” she continued.

Clearway Clinics are licensed, pro-life medical clinics with locations in Springfield and Worcester. The clinics are overseen by four doctors and staffed by nurses. They offer free pregnancy testing, ultrasounds and also the abortion pill reversal. Clearway’s Worcester clinic opened in 2000 and the Springfield clinic opened in 2018 on Columbus Avenue. Through the years, Clearway has welcomed more than 3000 babies into the world. The clinics are supported entirely by Christian churches and receive funding from the Annual Catholic Appeal.

“Thank you for believing in the value of every life and for investing so faithfully in this ministry. Your loyalty makes everything we do possible. I am filled with hope and joy for all that God has in store for Clearway Clinic in the years ahead,” she wrote.

At the annual fundraising banquet in April, Clearway announced they are looking to open a third clinic in the Boston area.

“Jill has served Clearway and the pro-life community in Western Mass with great dedication over the past four years. She will be greatly missed,” said Father Daniel Pacholec, the director of the Respect Life Office of the Diocese of Springfield.

“It has been a pleasure to work with Jill. Please keep her in your prayers during this time of transition, and pray that the Holy Spirit guides the process of selecting a new executive director,” he said.
