WESTFIELD – Psalm 33 Music Ministry, based out of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Westfield, will hold a free outdoor concert on church grounds, Sunday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. A free will offering will be taken to benefit Bethlehem House of Easthampton, a pregnancy care center which offers free baby items and other resources to women in crisis. Bethlehem House assists women with diapers, wipes, new baby clothes, car seats and pack and plays. Once a month mothers can come back to pick up supplies until the baby is 18 months old.
October is Respect Life Month, highlighting the need to care for the most vulnerable, from the unborn, to the gravely ill, disabled and homeless.
Psalm 33 plays contemporary praise and worship music and leads music at the diocesan youth rallies, youth retreats, Faith on Fire, Chalice Masses and other diocesan events.
In June, they held a concert at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish to benefit Harmony House, which provides care to people at the end of life.
Attendees are asked to bring their own chairs. In case of rain, the concert will be held inside the parish center.
Bethlehem House is supported by the Annual Catholic Appeal.
