Chalice to air at special times for 4 weekends

REGIONAL
Staff report

SPRINGFIELD – Due to NBC Sports coverage, the weekly “Chalice of Salvation” televised Mass will be seen at a special time for the next four weeks.

Beginning this Sunday, July 21, “Chalice” will air at the earlier time of 6 a.m. on WWLP-TV 22.

“Chalice” will then air in place of the diocesan news magazine program, “Real to Reel” on the following three Saturday evenings at 7 p.m.: July 27, August 3 and August 10.

“Chalice” host, Sharon Roulier urges parishioners to mark their calendars and share this information with their homebound friends and relatives.

“We know how important the weekly televised Mass is for elderly and infirmed parishioners, so we are trying to get the word out,” she stated.

This Sunday’s 6 a.m. Mass will be celebrated by Father James Nolte, pastor of St. Patrick Parish in South Hadley and will mark the 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

If you miss the broadcast, you can find it on YouTube by logging onto www.iobserve.org.
