SPRINGFIELD – The Gray House will host its 33rd Annual Spaghetti Supper at the Greek Cultural Center, here, on Thursday, March 21 from 5-7 p.m. All proceeds from the family-friendly event help The Gray House provide food, youth programming, and adult educational services to those living in poverty throughout the greater Springfield community.

Event tickets are $7, or $5 for children and seniors, and include supper, dessert and children’s activities. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase and provide the opportunity to win a variety of prizes, including gift cards to local restaurants, spa certificates, and more. All tickets are available at the door.

“The Spaghetti Supper is so much more than just a fundraiser,” said Kristen McClintock, executive director at The Gray House. “It’s a truly unique opportunity for the community to join together, including those we serve, our dedicated staff and volunteers, and our steadfast friends and partners within the community. Whether this is your first time attending or you have been to the past 32 suppers, the evening promises to be filled with good food and great people.”

During the event, The Gray House will honor the Lineage facility of Westfield, whose team have donated thousands of pounds of food to combat local hunger, as well as spent countless hours volunteering in the agency’s emergency food assistance program, the Market at Gray House.

The event accounts for more than 10% of the agency’s annual operating budget and helps The Gray House continue serving the more than 13,000 unique individuals who benefit annually from their food assistance, adult education, youth programming, and other services. 2024 also marks 40 years of service for the agency, which opened its doors in October 1984.

The Anniversary Sponsors of the annual supper are Florence Bank, PeoplesBank, M&T Bank, and Symetra. Event Sponsors include Freedom Credit Union, PDC Inc., and Vickers Oil Co. The event is hosted through the generosity of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and dinner will be prepared and served by the Knights of Columbus Council 9960.
