The Gray House inducts three new members to board of directors

SPRINGFIELD — The Gray House, a social service agency located in Springfield’s North End, recently inducted three new members to its Board of Directors for three-year terms.
Inducted at the virtual May meeting were Amy C. LoMoscalo, Jenn M. Putnam, and Michael P. Sweet.
LoMoscalo is a Hampden resident. She has been a nurse for over 20 years and is currently a clinical nursing instructor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst College of Nursing.
Putnam is a Chicopee resident. She recently retired and brings over 30 years of management experience, as well as over two decades of community service to The Gray House. Most recently, she served as the nutrition program director at Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc. Prior to that, she was the vice president of operations for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. She also served as executive director for the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield for 17 years. She is a past trustee of the College of Our Lady of the Elms and a former member and president of Elms College Alumni board of directors.
Sweet is a West Springfield resident and a substance use disorder counselor with Behavior Health Network/The Opportunity House. He has worked with ecumenical communities across western Massachusetts surrounding migrant rights and nuclear abolition. He is a graduate of the College of Our Lady of the Elms and is currently working towards his master’s degree in social work at Smith College.
“We are excited to welcome Amy, Jenn and Michael to The Gray House board, along with their unique perspectives and experiences working within our community,” said board president Margaret Beturne. “As we look toward the future and consider the ever-changing needs of our neighbors, we are certain their input will prove invaluable to our ongoing efforts.”
