From the Diocese: New priest assignments announced

SPRINGFIELD – Here are the latest priest assignments announced over the weekend by the Diocese of Springfield:

Effective April 1:

Father Barrent Pease will become administrator of St. John Paul II Parish, Adams, and St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Cheshire.

Father Paul Norman will become administrator of St. Mary and All Saints parishes, Ware.

Father John Gawienowski will be parochial vicar at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Northampton.

Effective May 1:

Father Timothy Campoli will retire.

Father Douglas McGonagle will become pastor of Blessed Sacrament and Holy Trinity parishes in Greenfield.

Father Ryan Sliwa will become administrator of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Easthampton.
