OBITUARY: Alfred Rozanski, father of Archbishop Mitchell Rozanski

BALTIMORE — Alfred F. Rozanski, husband of Jean D. Rozanski and father of St. Louis Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski, former bishop of Springfield, died on Dec. 27. 

Archbishop Rozanski was able to travel to Baltimore to be with his father before his death.

In addition to his wife and Archbishop Rozanski, Alfred is survived by his sons, Kenneth A. Rozanski and his wife, Lisa and Albert Rozanski and his wife, Danielle; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Kyle, and Dalton; and his great-granddaughter, Caroline.

Visitation will be held at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A., 1201 Dundalk Ave., Baltimore, Md.,  on Friday, Jan. 1, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 2, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 6736 Youngstown Ave., Baltimore, with interment to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alfred’s name may be made to Sacred Heart of Mary Church, 6736 Youngstown Ave., Baltimore, MD 21222.
