SPRINGFIELD – It may be the most-read issue of the year.

The July/August issue of The Catholic Mirror magazine, which celebrates the vocation of the priesthood, is now available online at http://faithdigital.org/Springfield/CM0718/.

The special expanded edition of the Springfield diocesan publication features the ordination of the diocese’s two newest priests, Fathers Michael Kokoszka and Frank Furman; biographies of the 13 priests celebrating special anniversaries of their ordinations this year; and testimonies from six seminarians who share their gratitude for all those who are supporting them in their vocational journeys.

Local news articles include reports on local Catholic high school graduations; the 87th commencement exercises at Our Lady of the Elms College; and news of two former Cathedral High School chaplains who were ordained to the priesthood for religious orders.

The Parish Angel in this issue is 92-year-old Pittsfield parishioner Mary Moesley, who says, “I’m not ready to sit. I am too young.”

(Editor’s note: The “Real to Reel” segment on the June 30th priesthood ordinations at St. Michael’s Cathedral also will be rebroadcast on the upcoming edition of the program, which airs Saturday evening at 7 p.m. on WWLP-22NEWS; on Albany’s WXXA-Fox 23 Sunday morning at 5:30; and on CatholicTV (Cable Channel 268) on Sunday at 8 p.m., Thursday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 a.m.)
