SPRINGFIELD – The digital version of the March/April issue of The Catholic Mirror is now available here: http://faithdigital.org/Springfield/CM0318/.

Highlights include a look at two ministries that are changing lives and bringing hope to children and adults in western Massachusetts with support from the Annual Catholic Appeal: The Gray House in Springfield and Providence Ministries in Holyoke.

Returning Catholic Trish Aucoin poses with her husband, David, and daughter, Alison, at St. Cecilia Church in Wilbraham.

Also featured is the first installment of a new series, “Always With You,” focusing on the ways the church can minister to Catholics in various stages of their faith journeys. In this first story, a woman returns to her Catholic roots thanks to a welcoming parish and the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.

The Mirror also marks the 60th anniversary of the “Chalice of Salvation” weekly televised Mass with an interview with the program’s longtime host, Passionist Brother Terrence Scanlon.

Other stories include a visit to the Men of St. Joseph group in Westfield and a profile of “Parish Angels” Al and Joyce Rosati of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Springfield.

Comments, responses and suggestions for future stories can be submitted to Rebecca Drake, editor, at r.drake@diospringfield.org or by calling 413-452-0636.
