SPRINGFIELD – October is traditionally celebrated as the Month of the Rosary by Catholics worldwide. This year an even greater significance is being placed on the recitation of the rosary as the yearlong celebration of the 100th anniversary of the apparitions at Fatima, Portugal comes to an end.

Catholics in the Diocese of Springfield are invited to take part in the Public Square Rosary Crusade, a national initiative coordinated by Tradition, Family and Property and its “America Needs Fatima” campaign.
