Recording artist and Holyoke native Deirdre Reilly to present benefit concert for SSJs

SPRINGFIELD – International recording artist Deirdre Reilly, a native of Holyoke, will present a benefit concert to raise funds for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield on Sunday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Sons of Erin in Westfield.

Reilly, who began performing at age 5, will sing classic Irish and country tunes. Born in Holyoke to Irish immigrant parents, she has been performing throughout the United States and Canada since she was 17. At 18, she toured with Paddy Noonan’s Irish Variety Show.

She also has performed in the Country Music USA Show at Opryland Show Park in Nashville, Tenn.
